The Sno Trails Snowmobile Trail System is located around the Minot area in north central North Dakota.  There is 340 miles of groomed trails.  The west part of the trail runs to Burlington, Foxhome, and Carpio along the valley.  It then travels up to Berthold and back to Burlington and Minot.  The north part of the trail system runs east and south to Deering and back to Ruthville and Minot.  There is also a connecting trail from Ruthville to Foxhome.  The southeast trail runs from Minot to Surrey, Sawyer, and Velva.  From Velva the trail travels north to Granville and then it goes west back to Surrey and it also connects to Deering.  Also, from Velva the trail goes north to Upham and south to Granville and back to Towner.  The trail from Towner also joins the North Central trail system.  There is also a connecting trail south of Upham running to the Glenburn and Deering areas.  The trail from Upham also runs north to Kramer and Bottineau and joins the Peace Garden Trail system.

The Sno Trails trail system is maintained and groomed by the local clubs and other volunteers.  The local clubs are the Dakota Trailblazers, Magic City Driftbusters of Minot, Ghost Riders of Velva, and the Mouse River Sled Runners of Towner.  The trails are groomed by a Cat Challenger which is leased from an area farmer.  The drag is owned by the area clubs.
