The Rough Rider Trail Association consists
of two independent trail systems which are located in the south central
part of the state. The trailhead for the
east trail system is located 1.5 miles South of I-94’s Exit 61 on Bismarck
Expressway. This trail runs east 22 miles
along Highway 10 to Sterling, where food and gas are available. Continuing
10 miles east from Sterling is Driscal. Steele
which is 22 miles east of Sterling has food, gas, and lodging available.
Mofit is located 10 miles south of Sterling along Highway 83.
South of Mofit are the towns of Hazelton(15 miles) and Linton (20
miles) which have gas, food, and lodging available.
Beaver Bay is west of Linton which has gas available and a great
place to eat. The trailhead is 60 miles north of Beaver Bay.
Riding west out of Mofit will take you back to the trailhead or
to the town of Lincoln where gas, and food are available.
Lincoln is only 5 miles from the trailhead. This system is groomed
with a John Deer Gilbert. Click here to download the Membership Brochure (605 kb). You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print this document. Get Acrobat Reader now by clicking on the image below. |
