The Little Missouri Trail Association has two systems amounting in 52 miles of signed groomed trail with both of  the trailhead’s starting in Dickinson, North Dakota.  The first trail system follows Highway 10 East to South Heart and Belfield which totals an amount of 20 miles of trail.  Located in Belfield is the popular Trapper’s Kettle restaurant and lodging.  The second trail system follows Highway 22 North to Manning and Killdeer totaling in an amount of 32 miles.  In traveling to Killdeer, riders will encounter the Eastern portion of the Badlands along with the Killdeer Mountains.  Both of these systems have stops along the way for rest and fun.  The systems are groomed by a 1991 Tucker Snow Cat and maintained by the Little Missouri Snowmobile & ATV Club.  This is a low snow area so be sure to check snow conditions.
